Convergys Colombia and World Vision Work Together to Safeguard and Protect Children

(Bogotá, Colombia, November 12, 2014) Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer management signed a cooperation agreement with World Vision in Colombia to sponsor 5 children and promote collaboration and volunteering opportunities to help children gain access to education and improve the quality of their life, especially those lacking adequate financial resources.   World Vision´s Sponsorship Program has been operating in the world for over 60 years and in Colombia since 1978.

"We are truly pleased to partner with World Vision and help enable the access to education in the country. Convergys assumes its responsibility with tangible actions.  We want to promote a new culture of social responsibility that supports the generation of positive change in our society, knowing that when we join efforts and work together towards the same goal, the impossible, becomes possible!",  said Rick Strub, Director of Convergys in Colombia.

In the meantime, the national director of World Vision in Colombia, Martha Yaneth Rodriguez, who was once sponsored by the organization, said:

Our goal is to continue working in Colombia in the more than 631 neighborhoods where we develop our programs thanks to the support of sponsors and companies".
