Leading homebuilder Countryside has been recognised for its work at St Mary's Island in Chatham, at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2017. The company won highly commended for Best Family Home under £750,000 for its Admiral house design at Azure, the latest phase of homes on St Mary's Island, Kent.

The Evening Standard New Homes Awards, which took place at The Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane on Friday 19th May, recognise the highest standard of new homes and signify excellence within the housebuilding industry. This year, the ceremony was hosted by comedian Romesh Ranganathan and presented by Team GB hockey star Kate Richardson-Walsh, with the awards judged by Evening Standard readers and specialist architects. A number of additional categories were also introduced this year to celebrate excellence within architecture, regeneration and eco design.
