Porsche To Launch Smaller Panamera Version By 2017 - Report

Porsche Automobil Holding SE's (PAH3.XE) sportscar unit plans to launch a small coupe based on its Panamera model by 2017 with prices starting at EUR65,000, weekly Autobild reports Thursday without identifying its sources.
The car would be named Pajun and compete with Daimler AG's (>> Daimler AG) Mercedes-Benz-Class and CLS models.
Porsche executives have indicated in the past the sportscar maker could launch a smaller version of the Panamera.
A spokesman for Porsche said no decision has been made yet regarding this project.
