Delta marks its 10th anniversary as main sponsors of Gnetwork360's annual International Conference on LGBT Business and Tourism in Argentina. The yearly forum allows the airline to share and gain insights from this conference as part of its focus on delivering the best experience to every customer in every flight.

This year, codeshare partner Aerolineas Argentinas will join Delta at the conference, which will focus on women as protagonists and leaders of change. The conference will also provide attendees a perspective on millennials and the Asian population in addition to exploring the influence of digital media on the LGBT market.

The LGBT sector has demonstrated tremendous growth in recent years, and the United Nations World Tourism Organization estimates that LGBT travelers annually spend over $211 billion.

Delta has joined initiatives like Gnetwork360 to support this movement and enhance the flying experience for LGBT travelers. The conference, with a significant track record in the industry, has grown 770 percent since its inception, with 210 attendees in the first edition to 1,700 attendees in 2017. Representatives from 16 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America are registered to attend this year's conference, taking place August 21-24 at the Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires.

'The Gnetwork360 conference provides a platform for Delta to share new trends with local and regional trade associations in the LGBT sector which we are proud to serve,' said Santiago Elijovich, Delta's General Manager-Hispanic South America. 'Diversity and inclusion are core to Delta's DNA and to the success of our business. We center on making each customer feel valued, which in turn has positioned us as a global leader within the LGBT community.'

The airline's network360 are already making a difference in the years to come by inviting SkyTeam members in the region to join the initiative and promote respect for diversity and inclusion - two values that are fundamental for Delta and Gnetwork360.

'Delta's ongoing support for various initiatives in Argentina and the region has paved the way for other companies to increasingly value diversity and participate in projects that benefit the LGBT community,' said Pablo De Luca - President of Gnetwork360. 'In Latin America, when we think about an airline that is committed to diversity and inclusion, we think about Delta Air Lines.'

'I am proud to work for Delta because it is a company committed to fostering our unique, inclusive culture and attracting talent that reflects our diverse customer base worldwide,' said Roberto Girotti, Executive Consultant for Delta - Latin America and Caribbean. 'Delta is an incredible employer where diversity and inclusion are applied on a daily basis and pushed from the top down.'

Recently, Delta was proudly awarded a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2017 & 2018 Human Rights Campaign 'Best Places to Work' Corporate Equality Index. Additionally, for the third year in a row, Delta has been named a 'Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion,' receiving a top score of 100 percent on the 2018 Disability Equality Index.
