GREENSBORO, N.C. - March 24, 2017 - Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital resources, today held a celebration for the completion of its 36,000-square-foot Kay business office expansion at 8300 Capital Drive in Greensboro. The event, attended by Greensboro City Manager Jim Westmoreland and other city and county officials, included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the LEED-certified facility.

'This expansion is an important milestone for Ecolab and a reflection of the growth we've achieved through our Greensboro-based Kay Quick Service Restaurants and Food Retail Services businesses, and will help position us for continued growth in the future,' said Bobby Mendez, Ecolab executive vice president and president, Global Services and Specialty.

This is the company's fourth expansion at the Capital Drive facility since 1987. Ecolab partnered with several Triad companies to complete the project, underscoring its commitment to supporting the local community.

The 1,600 employees of Ecolab's Kay business serve the cleaning, sanitation and food safety needs of quick service restaurants and food retail locations throughout the world. Kay signed its first quick service restaurant customer in 1967 and is celebrating 50 years of serving the quick service restaurant industry.
