Following an audit by business standards firm BSI France, Econocom has obtained ISO/IEC27001:2013 certification, one of the most prominent standards for information security. This certification covers all Econocom's Services activities in France and is the biggest scope audited by BSI France for this standard to date.

ISO 27001 describes requirements for implementing information security management systems, (ISMS). It determines which security measures should be implemented in order to ensure protection of a company's sensitive assets within a given perimeter.

Econocom now has ISO/IEC27001:2013 certification covering all its Services activities in France. This certification is a major driver for the group, both externally and internally, enabling it to stand out from the competition by guaranteeing optimal security management. It will ensure Econocom's clients, shareholders and partners that is has total control of IT security and is proof of the company's commitment to continuous improvement. It will also raise awareness among employees about information security issues and confirms its skills and expertise in this field.
