Bogota, D.C., January 15, 2016. During a special meeting held this morning, the General Shareholders Assembly of Empresa de Energía de Bogota - EEB - , parent company of Grupo Energía de Bogota, modified the composition of its Board of Directors.

The foregoing change is the result of the powers vested upon the Shareholder's Assembly to meet and define issues of extraordinary nature when deemed necessary.

Hence, the Capital District of Bogota, as the main shareholder of EEB, holding a stake of 76.28%, decided to summon its shareholders to a special meeting in order to elect new members to the Board of Directors.

The new Board will be as follows:

Today, Grupo Energía de Bogotá is among the leading corporations in the energy sector in the Americas and as a result, during the past three years the main risk rating agencies have improved EEB ́s debt and risk perspective ratings. Furthermore, its management has been acknowledged in an array of fields; in 2015 it was included for the fourth consecutive year in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for Emerging Markets (DJSI), it was awarded the IR acknowledgement, granted by the Colombian Securities Exchange (BVC - for its Spanish acronym) on account of good business practices in Investors Relations and in addition, the company is among the six companies with lower corruption risk, according to the Corporate Transparency Measurement for public utility companies conducted by Transparencia por Colombia in 2015.

Grupo Energia de Bogota is the leading corporation in the Colombian power sector. Through EEB it transports electricity to the most significant markets in terms of demand and size in the country and participates in the distribution of electricity.
