Algeri, April 19 2016 - The Prime Minister of Algeria, Abdelmalek Sellal, the Energy Minister, Salah Khebri and the President and General Director (PDG) of Sonatrach, Amine Mazouzi met with Eni's Chief Executive Officer, Claudio Descalzi, following to the last meeting of 3 November.

During the meeting, Eni's CEO outlined further opportunities for the relaunch of the activities within the development of gas and oil in the existing concessions in the Country.

Eni's CEO also expressed his hopes for the development of future collaborations in the renewable energies, in order to strengthen the partnership of over ten years between the two countries and the two companies.

Eni has been present in Algeria since 1981 and now participates in 32 mining permits, with a daily production of 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent, as the first foreign producer, following the state company Sonatrach.
