Bala Cynwyd, PA - Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) announced today the appointment of John Graefe as the company's first Chief Information Officer (CIO), responsible for delivering a broad range of IT Initiatives to support the company.

Graefe, who has been the Vice President of IT will continue to lead the team of employees overseeing Entercom's  IT infrastructure, as well as its' strategy and partnerships.  He is a tech leader with a unique view of IT innovation and its' application in driving business objectives.  In this new role he will take over responsibilities for the company's analytics and business intelligence initiatives.  Graefe has been at Entercom for more than 12 years, during which time he has held increasingly responsible roles.

Graefe holds an MBA from Penn State University.  He also led Entercom to being named to Information Week's top 500 technology innovators in 2012 and 2013.  He will report to Steve Fisher, Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer.

Graefe joined Entercom in 2002 as the director of Corporate Information Technology.  Prior to joining Entercom, he held IT leadership roles with Exelon, a national energy provider, and Bechtel, a global engineering and project management company.
