• The European expansion of FCA Bank's mobility vehicle rental company starts in Spain.
  • A strategic choice for FCA Bank which aims at integrating its business in all countries in which it operates, in support of the renewed product range of FCA Group.

Leasys, the mobility and long-term rental company of FCA Bank, founded in Italy in 2001, has launched an expansion program in Europe that, in the coming months, will bring it to offer its services in countries where the banking Group is already doing business.
Spain has been chosen as the first market given the well-established and long lasting presence of FCA Bank and the positive growth indicators of the long-term rental business. In Spain, like in the rest of Europe, there is an increasingly developing new concept of mobility, which looks at the use and not at the possession of the car, with a view to saving and sustainability.

Foreign expansion is the natural consequence of the strengthening of Leasys on the domestic market: in fact, for some years now, the company stands at the top of the industry by number of registered cars and in 2016 broke the all-time sales record.

Leasys Italia's business model is the best practice for reference: ICT, finance, service and contact management operations will continue to be handled by the Italian holding company, while Spain will take care of all administrative, remarketing, sales and marketing tasks.

Internationalization is part of the wider strategy of growth and diversification of the FCA Bank Group, which aims at increasing its market share by aggressively offering to the rental fleet market the FCA's renewed product range - including the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia, Fiat Tipo and Jeep Compass, to debut soon - thanks to the direct presence of Leasys in the territory.

At the helm of Leasys in Spain has been appointed Alejandro Barrau, a professional with over ten years experience in the car rental business, under the coordination of Alberto Grippo, Consejero Delegado of the Spanish subsidiaries of FCA Bank.

With the expansion of the key markets, Leasys will be increasingly more competitive and will be able to better support its international customers.
The next European countries where Leasys will be present in the next few months, will be France, UK, beginning with Germany in the Summer.
