Anne-Malorie Géron has been nominated Vice President, EU Affairs at Fortum as of 17 August, 2015. The position is new and she will be located in Brussels. Géron will report to Esa Hyvärinen, Senior Vice President, Corporate Relations.

Anne Malorie holds a Master Degree in European Law from the College of Europe, Belgium as well as a Master Degree in International Tax Law from University of Paris Sud XI, France.

Prior to her appointment Géron has been working for EURELECTRIC, the European association representing electricity industries in Brussels, for 17 years in various managerial positions. Since 2014 she has been the Head of Energy Policy and Generation in EURELECTRIC. In this position, one of her main tasks was to influence the development of an EU governance model that aims at more streamlined, consistent and cost-effective policy-making.
