• The company intends to increase the size of its network by almost 50 kilometres in order to bring natural gas to six municipalities in the province of Granada over the coming years.
  • The company has begun the process to bring gas to Loja, where it expects to invest two million euros.

Gas Natural Andalucía, the distribution subsidiary of GAS NATURAL FENOSA in the region, plans to invest approximately seven million euros on bringing a gas supply to six municipalities in Granada: Albuñol, Alhama de Granada, Gualchos, Huétor Tájar, Íllora and Loja. Over the next few years, the company plans to expand its distribution network by almost 50 kilometres in order to supply these towns with natural gas.

Of the six municipalities, the company has already begun the process in Loja (a town of over 21,000 inhabitants) in order for a gas supply to be active within a few months.

According to the plan, the distribution company will invest approximately two million euros in Loja to lay 14 kilometres of pipes that will initially provide service to over 50% of the population.
