Gas Natural SDG : Andalucía and EPYME continue promoting expansion of natural gas in province of Seville

• The agreement, which will benefit close on 800 companies in Seville, will foster the access of installation companies to the company's public tender process.

The President of the Provincial Association of Installation Companies in Seville (EPYME), Manuel Cosano, the Delegate in Seville for Gas Natural Andalucía, Francisco Herrera, and the Delegate for Seville Municipalities, Antonio Aguilar, signed a partnership agreement to promote the access of close on 800small- and medium-sized installation companies to the public tender process of the distribution company and increase the number of natural gas supply points.

Gas Natural Andalucía launches a public tender aimed at installation companies and professionals every year and, under this agreement with EPYME, it seeks to reach as many people as possible via local tradesmen and installation company associations.

To meet their goals, this year Gas Natural Andalucía and EPYME will provide training sessions in which they will inform installers of the main new developments and technical questions relating to natural gas, and the present situation and ongoing expansion of its distribution.

Significant presence in Seville

Gas Natural Andalucía, the distribution subsidiary of GAS NATURAL FENOSA in this region of Spain, invested almost 12.7 million euros in the province of Seville in 2015 to continue its infrastructure expansion and development plan (mainly in the Aljarafe region), as well as to improve the networks and services that connect the 29 towns where it operates.

Last year, the company increased its supply points in the province by almost 5,400 and expanded its distribution network by 50 kilometres to a total of over 1,610. Seville is consolidating its position as the largest province in the region in terms of the number of natural gas users, with over 482,000.
