• Over the last 12 years, the company has invested approximately 225 million euros to continue with its infrastructure expansion and development plan in strategic areas of the region.

The General Management of Regulated Business at GAS NATURAL FENOSA has appointed Juan Antonio Pazos as the new General Manager of Gas Natural Castilla y León and put him in charge of the Northern Area. Juan Antonio Pazos takes over from Roberto Cámara, who will move on to lead the Trade Expansion unit of the company in Latin America.

Juan Antonio Pazos, a senior industrial engineer, joined GAS NATURAL FENOSA in 1991. After holding various positions of responsibility at the company in various autonomous regions, including Castile-Leon, he was appointed Director of Commercial Operation within the Markets Management Division in 2015. He is now returning to the region as Director of the Northern Area and General Manager of Gas Natural Castilla y León.

The new general manager takes up his position with the goal of 'speeding up growth in natural gas distribution in Castile-Leon over the coming years, by taking it to new towns and cities and extending networks in those towns where we already operate'. Juan Antonio Pazos believes that company activity revolves around three key areas: 'Prioritising occupational health and safety in all operations undertaken by the distribution company; placing customers at the core of business activity; and maintaining constant gas infrastructure growth as the stimulus for sustainable and environmentally-friendly growth'.

Presence in Castile-Leon

Gas Natural Castilla y León - a distribution subsidiary of GAS NATURAL FENOSA - distributes natural gas to over 420,500 supply points in 118 towns. Over the last 12 years, the company has invested approximately 225 million euros to continue with its infrastructure expansion and development plan in strategic areas of Castile-Leon.
