-- Weyerhaeuser Co Analyst Notes On July 7, 2014, Weyerhaeuser Co (Weyerhaeuser) announced the closing of the previously announced "Reverse Morris Trust" transaction, under which a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRI Pointe Homes, Inc. merged with and into Weyerhaeuser's homebuilding business and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company (WRECO), with WRECO surviving the merger and becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRI Pointe. According to the Company, the closing of the merger came after the expiration of the related exchange offer and the satisfaction of other conditions.
