GL Events : SMART MOBILITY WORLD

The 5th SMART MOBILITY WORLD show will take place from 10 to 11 October at the Lingotto Fiere in Turin. It is the largest European event devoted to sustainable, digital, integrated mobility.

Smart mobility is a vast field which addresses day-to-day subjects such as electric and connected vehicles, safe driving, mobile payments, innovation in public transport and smart traffic management.

In past editions the event brought together more than 100 speakers, some 3,000 trade operators, 116 sponsors and partners, the event has become the showcase for innovations in connected mobility. The fair is organised so as to enable visitors to discover the latest innovations, meet and discuss with professionals in the sector and test the products presented.

This year, some 3,500 international trade operators are expected at the show. They will be involved in different areas: exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations and driving tests.

The exhibition area will be designed as a trade show where exhibitors, start-ups and partners can showcase their technologies. The Forum area will host more than 30 events over the 2 days: institutional or thematic conferences, technical seminars, press conferences, and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to test drive the most innovative vehicles and discover sustainable digital solutions. The show also has a special area set aside for start-ups, to help them develop their networks and raise their profile.

The 2017 show will be an opportunity to keep up to date with the latest developments in connected intelligence and, above all, to gain an insight into the future through the innovations presented, which will soon be available on the market.
