Groupe Gorge : ECA, subsidiary of Groupe Gorgé, announces an order of dronization for the Australian Navy

ECA has received an order for the supply of control command systems for vessels which will equip Australian Navy's minesweepers. These systems are derived from the existing drone INVESTOR of ECA. This contract is an illustration of ECA's ability to turn different kind of vessels into drones, complementary market of the supply of complete drones of INSPECTOR's type.

Those systems will be delivered to the Australian Navy by our Australian partner during 2015 first half. This contract represents a relevant reference for ECA with a view to future programs in Australia. Indeed, the Australian Defence Department should soon launch consultations for underwater mine clearance systems, which will be based on the use of robotics like ALISTER and K-STER.
