Hammerson : Global retailer Lush to open at Westquay, Southampton

Hammerson announces that global cosmetics retailer, Lush, has chosen Westquay, the South Coast's premier retail and leisure destination, for its new store in Southampton.

The 270 sq m store with 115 sq m used for sales will be located on the third level of the mall, trading alongside other international retailers including River Island and Superdry. When the store opens, Lush will be selling its full range of handmade cosmetics products to Westquay shoppers.

Since establishing 22 years ago, Lush has been driven by innovation and its ethics. Creators of pioneering beauty products such as the fizzing bath bomb, shower jellies and solid shampoo bars, Lush places emphasis on fresh ingredients like organic fruits and vegetables.

Westquay has undergone significant change in the past year, with the opening of its dedicated leisure and dining development, Westquay South, (Formerly Westquay Watermark), and an effective asset management strategy bringing in a dynamic retail tenant mix. The centre recently signed Russell & Bromley, which marked the brand's return to Southampton and its only store in the city.
