Hang Lung : Publishes Sustainability Report 2013 Themed "The Honest Way Forward"

(Hong Kong, August 4, 2014) Hang Lung Properties Limited (HKSE stock code: 101) is pleased to announce today the publication of its second standalone sustainability report, covering the financial year of 2013 from January 1 to December 31.

Bearing the theme of "The Honest Way Forward", the Sustainability Report 2013 is a natural extension of the previous report titled "The Honest Advantage" and provides an open and thorough elaboration of the sustainability challenges faced, and achievements accomplished, by both Hang Lung Group and Hang Lung Properties during the year. The topics covered include the sustainability approach, business operations, governance, environmental management, supply chain, as well as human resources and community engagement of the whole group.

Taking an additional step in disclosure, the Sustainability Report 2013 is compiled in accordance with the core option of the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines G4 of the Global Reporting Initiative and the new Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide set out in Appendix 27 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, thereby demonstrating well the group's determination to align its practices with the latest and best international standards.
