We're accelerating the momentum of innovation and ended the year with a number of exciting announcements.

Over the past few months, we made strides in blockchain and artificial intelligence, and built a new computing system that will help companies glean real-time insights from their massive pools of data.

  1. We're Making Artificial Intelligence More Accessible

In October, HPE announced new platforms and services that will help businesses simplify the adoption of Artificial Intelligence. These tools will help advance AI use cases including genomic sequencing analytics, climate research, medical science, autonomous driving and robotics.

  1. We're Leading the Industry with In-Memory Computing Solutions

This quarter, we built HPE Superdome Flex, which brings the best technology from our SGI acquisition to our Superdome line. The platform enables enterprises of any size to process and analyze massive amounts of data and turn it into real-time business insights. Superdome Flex provides our customers and partners with Memory-Driven Computing right now, and is another example of how HPE is leading the industry with cutting-edge in-memory computing solutions.

  1. We Hosted our Annual Securities Analyst Meeting

HPE's Securities Analyst Meeting (SAM) was an opportunity for our leadership team to provide strategy and financial updates to the analyst community. CEO Meg Whitman discussed the progress we've made since launching the company in November 2015 and shared our vision, strategy and market opportunity going forward. She highlighted that the work we've done in the past two years has created a company that is more nimble and more focused on the solutions our customers want. Replays and materials from the event can be found on the HPE Investor Relations website.

  1. We Announced the First Product in HPE's Blockchain Family

As our customers evaluate blockchain solutions, they are finding that generic infrastructure and public cloud environments cannot support the requirements they need in terms of performance, security, scalability and resiliency. This month, we launched HPE's Mission Critical DLT solution which provides availability and fault protection for enterprise-grade applications. The solution is offered on HPE Integrity NonStop platforms, which process two out of every three credit card transactions in the world.

  1. HPE is now a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader in All of its Core Business Categories.

The industry continues to recognize HPE's portfolio strength and innovation roadmap. Today, for the first time, HPE is a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in all of its core business categories. For example, last month, Aruba was named a leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless Networking, and was placed first for Vision. This is the first time that Cisco has ever been displaced from this position. And, Gartner also affirmed HPE's strategy for hybrid IT data storage. In Gartner's 2017 Magic Quadrant for General-Purpose Disk Arrays, HPE was positioned in the Leader's Quadrant for our completeness of vision and ability to execute.
