Icade announces the signing of an off-plan lease with an option to buy with the French
Government ("France Domaine") for the Ministry of the Interior in the 20th district of Paris.
This contract for 26,000 sqm of office space completes the marketing of a large-scale project, also including a bus centre and offices for RATP (Paris Public Transportation Authority), as well as a secondary school and a nursery for the City of Paris.
The building, whose name is "Le Garance," is HQE and BREEAM Very Good certified and designed by architect Brigitte Métra. It was awarded a Pyramide d'argent ("Silver Pyramid," a French national award for developers) in 2013.
This is a success for Icade's Property Development Division, with the building due for delivery in July 2015.
For this transaction, Icade was advised by BNP RE Transaction and the firms Thibierge and Jeantet. France Domaine and the Ministry of the Interior were advised by AOS and the firms Cheuvreux and SBKG.
