ID Logistics : launches a Call for Innovative Projects

Two key areas chosen:

Smart Warehouse and Supply Chain Digitalisation

Following on from the successful first edition launched by its specialised transport and supply chain management subsidiary IDEO, this year's call for proposals focuses on warehouse management.

The Call for Projects aims to identify businesses with innovative ideas for logistics and invites applicants to design one or more projects encompassing:

• implementation of a novel logistics solution that aims to transform the operation of logistics hubs and to define the smart warehouse by improving operators' work experience, simplifying warehouse management or defining a warehouse 4.0.

• implementation as part of supply chain digitalisation a solution that creates, analyses and/or uses relevant data paving the way for predictive models to be built, ecosystems adjacent to the warehouse ecosystem to be harnessed and for connections between the various links in the supply chain to be improved.

Participants will be assessed and selected by a panel of judges consisting of ID Logistics' top management, supply chain and innovation managers from its major clients and external personalities.

The businesses winning the Call for Projects will be able to set up an operational pilot project at one of the Group's facilities and will receive support and guidance from ID Logistics' teams.
