• With this transaction, ATP is consolidated as one of the main towers operator in the Andean Region.

This acquisition from Berkshire Partners, an important private investment firm, is strategic for ATP, since Torres Unidas is a quality asset in the region, with good market practices and great affinity. In this way, 1,644 sites would be added to the ATP portfolio, reaching to 2,150 sites in Chile, Peru, and Colombia.

For the purchase of Torres Unidas, ISA capitalized USD 80 million in addition to the amount already announced at the beginning of 2017, to increase its participation in the company's stake to a 24%. This transaction places ATP as one of the main telecommunications passive infrastructure operators in three of the most attractive markets in Latin America, managing to consolidate a diversified portfolio, while expanding its cooperation with INTERNEXA, ISA's company, in the connectivity business.

According to Bernardo Vargas Gibsone, ISA's CEO, 'this acquisition takes place in the best moment to capitalize on the telecommunication sector growth, especially in infrastructure needed to supply the needs of greater coverage and capacity that mobile operators will have in next years in the Andean region'.

About this business, Marc Ganzi, ATP's Board of Director's President, said: 'The acquisition of Torres Unidas will accelerate the growth of ATP since it is one of the largest operators of passive telecommunication infrastructure in the region.
