The Shareholders General Meeting of ISA Investimentos e Participações do Brasil S.A. a Brazilian company incorporated on January 10, 2017 and turned into a S.A. on April 27, 2017, whose corporate purpose is the participation as partner or shareholder, in other companies, and consortiums and commercial ventures of any nature - during an extraordinary meeting held on May 25, 2017, approved the increase of its share capital of USD213 million.
This increase in the company´s capital was accomplished by contributions from INTERCONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA S.A. E.S.P. - ISA (99.9%) and ISA CAPITAL DO BRASIL S.A. (0.1%).
The share capital increase is part of the resources required for the acquisition of Transmissora Alianca de Energia Elétrica S.A. (TAESA)'s control block shares. These shares represent 41.6% of the control block, 26.0% of common shares and 14.9% of TAESA´s total share capital.

Interconnection Electric SA ESP (ISA) is a Colombia-based company engaged in the transmission of electric power.
