Interconexion Electrica S A : ISA included in The Sustainability Yearbook 2017 as one the most sustainable companies

For the second consecutive year, ISA is included in The Sustainability Yearbook, a publication that recognizes the most sustainable companies worldwide.
From the results of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and the evaluation of the financial, environmental and social dimensions of 2473 companies, the RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook included a select group of 867 companies on its report, among which ISA is a leader in the Electrical Utility Service Sector.
The RobecoSAM report rates in an independent manner the companies that participate in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, in which ISA, in 2016, obtained a maximum rating in the Biodiversity and Energy Transmission categories, and the highest score in the industry for Information Security and Cyber Security.
The companies that have been included in the Yearbook should analyze a timely management in the identification of risks arising from their activity, respond to global sustainability trends; and deviate to the political, financial and technical changes of the business environment, a commitment undertaken by ISA.

Interconnection Electric SA ESP (ISA) is a Colombia-based company engaged in the transmission of electric power. The Companyâs business is structured into five divisions: Electric Energy Transport, operating a network of high-voltage transmission circuits in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil; Smart Management of Real Time Systems, which manages the facilities of the National Interconnected System (SIN), Commercial Settlement System (SIC), Wholesale Energy Market (MEN) and International Electricity Transactions (TIE); Construction of Infrastructure Projects, which include the development of high-voltage and fiber-optic transmission networks; Telecommunications Transport, which is involved in the leasing of the Companyâs transmission networks to other operators, and Road Concessions, which focuses on the construction, management and exploitation of highways, toll roads and other related infrastructure.
