1. Launch of Cable 4K (channel 295) broadcast

At 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 1st, the first cable 4K channel for all J:COM area will be launched. Please refer to J:COM website for details.
To enjoy 4K contents via “4K Smart J:COM Box 〈with DVR function〉, a connection to HDMI2.0/HDCP2.2 TV input terminal is required. We are not guaranteeing compatibility with every 4K devices.

2. Suspension of Broadcast due to Maintenance

Broadcast is suspended due to a regular maintenance of broadcast facilities.

  • ・Date of suspension:1:00 - 7:00 am (6 hours) on Tuesday, December 1st
  • ・Subjected channels: Nihon Eiga Senmon Channel HD (channel 501), TOEI Channel HD (channel 503)

The following suspension is planned in addition in J:COM Kawachi.

  • ・Date of suspension:several few-minute suspensions during 1:00 - 5:00 am on Tuesday, December 1st
  • ・Subjected channels: Terrestrial Digital, BS Digital and all Cable Digital including PPV and FM Radio

3. Correction of J:COM MOBILE service description in November edition

There was a misstatement regarding the people eligible for “10,000 cashback when switching using MNP” in November issue.

【correct】 A person currently using other operator’s mobile phone service and is subscribing to J:COM MOBILE Smartphone set (long-term contract) using MNP line switching and also subscribing to “Smart OTOKU Plan 160”.

However, au smartphone subscribers and au smart value/ au smart value mine subscribers are not subjected.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

4. Regarding Invoice Issuance

Starting the invoice for January 2016, invoice issuance to customers subscribing to Internet or paying via credit card will be terminated. The billing information can be confirmed on the web site, 'MY J:COM Customer Information Page'. If you wish to continue receiving invoice, it is available at 50 yen per month. Please refer to J:COM web site for details.

* The invoice issuance is terminated in December in J:COM Sapporo area.

5. Reception Hours for J:COM Customer Center

On Tuesday, December 1st, 2015, the reception hours by operators at Customer Center (0120-999-000) will be changed as following.

  • ・Before:9:00AM-9:00PM (365 days a year)→After:9:00AM-6:00PM (365 days a year)

The reception for Technical Support Center (0120-99-3652) will not be changed from the current 9:00AM-9:00PM (365 days a year)
