The plastic bags with Cello garden soil and soil for summer flowers were selected among 1,600 contestants in The Dieline Awards to the third place of the Private Label category. The awards were announced in Chicago on 2 May 2017. The Dieline, a prestigious American website, is the world's most visited packaging design website.
The Cello brand by K-Rauta offers products for the home and the garden. It wants to be distinguished from the competition not only by high-quality products, but also by a stylish visual look and packaging design that draws attention.
'The soil bags on the market all look pretty much the same. We decided to stand out from the crowd. We wanted the product packaging to have a simple, stylish message about what the package contains and what it is good for. It was a way of helping the customer make the right choice. Cello is about making interior design and furnishing as well as gardening easy for our customers. This was the starting point for our boldly different packaging that we can now be proud of. It is among the best in the world,' says Tarja Viilola, Brand Manager.
The award-winning soil bags are produced in Finland. They are currently sold in K-Rauta stores in Finland and they will later become available in K-Rauta stores also in Sweden and Russia.
