HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received HE. Mr. Pekka Voutilainen, Ambassador of Finland to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Nahla Nasser Alanbar, Private Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Mr. Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman.
The meeting began as the Ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him, as it is the first meeting for His Excellency with Prince Alwaleed since he took post as Finnish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The two touched upon the latest regional and international developments on the social and economic front, and the bi-lateral economic relations between their respective countries.
In 2013, Prince Alwaleed received HE Mr. Jan Vapaavouri, Minister of Economic Affairs and an accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the Minister discussed investment opportunities in Finland and extended an invitation to HRH to visit the country. Moreover, Mr. Vapaavouri expressed his government's desire to attract Prince's investments to the country, and said that his government will strive to facilitate and overcome any difficulties or obstacles hindering the success of HRH's investments.
The Prince's investment in Finland is in the banking sector through Citigroup.
