Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that three titles were recognized at the PlayStation® Awards 2014*1, held by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. "METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES" (below, "MGSV:GZ"), "WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven 2014" (below, "Winning Eleven 2014"), and "JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2013" were each awarded the "Gold Prize," which is presented to game software titles that have exceeded 500,000 total copies shipped throughout Japan and Asia*2. "MGSV:GZ" was also awarded the "Users' Choice Award."*3

"MGSV:GZ" serves as the prologue to "METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN" (below "MGSV:TPP," still in development), the latest title in the highly popular METAL GEAR action game series, which has sold over 39.7 million copies*4 worldwide to date. "MGSV:GZ" offers players total freedom in their means of infiltrating and escaping from their objective, and this strategic liberty coupled with the stunning photorealistic visuals and thought-provoking themes provide immense replay value. The yet-to-be-released "MGSV:TPP" will feature the same gameplay style, but set in a massive open world with real passage of time and dynamic weather, for the most immersive action game experience to date.

"Winning Eleven 2014" is a recent entry in the highly popular series of the same name, which has sold 86.8 million copies*4 worldwide, and this award marks the series' fourth consecutive Gold Prize. Featuring national soccer teams and club teams from around the world, the game's ultra-realistic graphics create an even more involving and thrilling soccer experience than previous titles. In November 2014, "WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven 2015" was released to eager series fans around the world.

"JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2013" is a recent entry in the highly popular in the series of the same name, which has sold over 20.5 million copies*4 to date. In Success Mode, which allows users to train their own unique player while advancing through a storyline, users can experience different developments in the story by changing its characters, allowing for a broad range gameplay possibilities. In October 2014, "JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2014" was released to high acclaim.
