EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - January 11, 2013 - Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY) today announced that it has purchased two buildings located at Park 2000 in Shakopee, Minnesota.

"We are very excited about our first industrial assets in Shakopee," Dave Jellison, senior vice president and city manager for Liberty's Minnesota region. "These are two newer, well-designed industrial buildings in a marketplace that should only become more desirable with the completion of the interchange at I-494 and Highway 169."

The two properties include:

  • Park 2000 Phase II (5555 12th Avenue East) is a 128,172 square foot single story building located on approximately seven acres of land. It is 100% leased to S.W. Anderson Company, My Pillow and North American Membership Group, Inc.
  • Park 2000 Phase IV (1150 Gateway Drive) is 100% leased to Logistics International, LLC. The building offers 153,454 square feet of industrial space, also on seven acres of land.
