Mercer announced today that Jonathan Gove, formerly Managing Director and Market Leader of Mercer Greater China, will assume the position of Global Client Manager. In his new role, Mr. Gove will focus on understanding clients’ business challenges and aligning Mercer’s product and service portfolio to address their complex needs. He will relocate from Hong Kong to New York, and will report to Mary Tinebra, Northeast Market Leader.

Mr. Gove has more than 20 years of HR and management consulting experience. Prior to joining Mercer in 2009, Mr. Gove spent 18 years with Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting) where he held various leadership positions including Hong Kong Office Head. He has also served as the Chairman of Mercer’s parent, Marsh & McLennan Companies, in Hong Kong.

Mr. Gove holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
