MERSEN : Finance Leaders Awards: Gold Award for Mersen's Finance Department

Paris, April 17, 2015 - Mersen (Euronext FR0000039620 - MRN), global expert in electrical specialties and graphite-based materials, yesterday received the Gold Award for the Best Finance Department in the industry category at the Finance Leaders Awards organized by the Leaders League group, editor of the magazine Décideurs.
On the basis of a dossier submitted by each of the 160 candidate companies, a jury of renowned professionals from the financial sector selected the top finance departments demonstrating creativity and excellence over the long-term. The assessment criteria mainly concerned financial performance over the last three years, the quality and diversity of accomplishments, the evolution of the company as a whole over the last 3 years and the ability for innovation.
This award encourages Mersen to pursue its ongoing efforts to achieve excellence in all of the Group's businesses.
On this occasion, Thomas Baumgartner, Mersen's Chief Financial Officer, declared: "I am very happy that the Finance Department has been awarded this prize.
