Metallurgical of China : Guo Wenqing Appointed Director, General Manager and Leading Party Group’s Deputy Secretary of China Minerals Corporation

In the morning of May 9th, the China Minerals Corporation convened an enlarged meeting of the leading group. Entrusted by leaders from the Organizing Department of the CCCPC, the directors of the Organizing Department's related cadre bureaus announced the Party Central Committee and State Council's appointment decision for the China Minerals Corporation's General Manager: Guo Wenqing was appointed Director, General Manager and Leading Party Group's Deputy Secretary of the Corporation.

MCC is an important listed company subordinated to China Minerals, and Guo Wenqing will continue to be its president. This decision will not affect the independence of MCC as a listed company. MCC will continuously and healthily develop according to the strategic positioning of being the 'National Team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacemaker of emerging industries'.
