Metallurgical of China : MCC Party Committee Holds 'Two Learning and One Doing' Knowledge Competition

On July 25th, in order to thoroughly advance 'learning the Party constitution and rules, learning the series of speeches and being a qualified Party member' education, the MCC Party Committee held a grand 'two learning and one doing' education knowledge competition at the Headquarters. It was attended by 33 competitors of 11 representative teams from every primary Party organization under the Party Committee. MCC and Joint Stock Company Party Committee Secretary Lin Jinzhen attended the activity and gave a speech. It was also attended by Party Work Department and Joint Stock Company Minister Fang Ronghua and Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Publicity Department Minister Qi Dongping.

Lin Jinzhen pointed out that the 'two learning and one doing' education is an important practical activity to face all Party members and deepen inner-Party education, as well as an important measure to promote education development from 'key minority' to all Party members and the extension from concentrated education to regular education. The 'two learning and one doing' activity held by the Party Committee aimed to increase the influence of the 'two learning and one doing' education knowledge competition, build a strong atmosphere of education, enhance the cohesion, centripetal force and fighting capacity of Party organizations at different levels, arouse the enthusiasm and initiative of all Party members and cadres, and implement cohesion for the Group to be the 'national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries' in a vivid and vigorous manner.

The competition was divided into compulsory questions, preemptive questions and risk questions, and carried out surrounding the relevant knowledge of the Constitution of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese Communist Party Disciplinary Regulations, the Chinese Communist Party Standards on Integrity and Self Discipline, and the spirits of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of speeches. In the competition field, all the competitors were strong in the compulsory questions stage, soul-stirring in the preemptive questions stage and self-possessed in the risk questions stage. They displayed a solid theoretical foundation, swift analysis ability and fund of knowledge reserves, sufficiently showing the educational results of all the Party Committee's members in the 'two learning and one doing' education activity and good spirituality, and winning the warm applause of the audience.

After the fierce competition, the scores of every team in the primary competition were added up, and 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 5 third prizes and 2 best competitor prizes were awarded. The team from the Organ's Eighth Learning Research Group (Party Work Department, Information Management Department) and the team from the Assets Management Company scored the highest and won the first prizes for their outstanding performance, while Li Maohua of the Party Work Department and Zhang Jiadong of the Assets Management Company won the best competitor prizes.
