Metallurgical of China : Qinhuangdao Practices National Health Strategy Innovation Platform - MCC’s Healthcare Industry Obtains New Breakthrough

On November 17th, on the basis of 'long-term perspective, mutual benefits, win-win cooperation and common development', MCC Huatian signed a cooperation agreement with the Qinhuangdao Municipal People's Government concerning such projects as the healthcare industry and ecological civilization construction. Both parties will develop cooperation in such aspects as the Beidaihe Life Health Industry Innovation Demonstration Area and Comprehensive Daihe Basin Treatment. Before signing, MCC Huatian President Kang Chengye held cordial and friendly talks with Qinhuangdao Municipal Party Secretary Meng Xiangwei and Municipal Deputy Secretary & Mayor Zhang Ruishu.

Kang Chengye pointed out that the Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee and Government has long attached great importance to the healthcare industry and ecological civilization construction, and has made remarkable achievements in these fields. MCC Huatian is a provider of development system solutions for cities and industries led by scientific research and design, and also a servicer of such full life cycles as engineering project investment (financing), consulting, planning, design, construction and operation. It has the leading core equipment technology advantage and whole industrial chain integration ability at home and abroad in the comprehensive water environment treatment field, and can provide the owners with such all-round integrated services as 'medical treatment, recovery, elderly care, tourism, leisure and culture', and satisfactory implementation solutions according to special requirements. This signing gathers bilateral advantages and deepens pragmatic cooperation, opening a new chapter of win-win development between government and enterprise.

Meng Xiangwei fully affirmed MCC Huatian's various works in Qinhuangdao in earlier stages, and highly praised the high efficiency and standards of its work quality and service ability. This cooperation, from early investigation and communication through to the formal signing, is one of the most efficient projects in Qinhuangdao City over the years, and it also marks the beginning of substantial cooperation between both parties. She hopes that Huatian will situate more projects in Qinhuangdao in the future, help to continuously improve the City's urban management service ability and industrial development level, and make it a brain trust of Qinhuangdao's economic development, an urban and industrial development system solution provider, an engineering construction servicer, a representative of intellectual cooperation and an important strategic partner, thereby making this bilateral cooperation into a benchmark of leading innovation and a model of government and enterprise cooperation. She added that the Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee and Government will provide first-class services for Huatian's development in Qinhuangdao, and actively promote win-win results for both parties.

Zhang Ruishu pointed out that this signing will produce a profound impact on the healthcare industry development and ecological civilization construction of Qinhuangdao. The City will fully support Huantian's related business development, and create a favorable environment for further cooperation between both parties.

Following the talks, both parties held a signing ceremony. MCC Huatian President Wang Jianguo and Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Mayor Xue Yongchun signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties. Huatian then signed an additional agreement with Funing District of Qinhuangdao concerning transferring the 50,000 t/d Funing Sewage Treatment Plant.

The above activities were attended by Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee Standing Committee Member and Secretary General Li Guoyong, Vice Mayor Sun Guosheng, Municipal Government Party Member Wang Cheng, Municipal Government Secretary General Li Zhongtian and the main leaders and relevant heads of such departments as the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Municipal Financial Bureau, Municipal Urban Administrative Enforcement Bureau, Municipal Water Supplies Bureau, Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Municipal Sewerage Corporation and Beidaihe New District, as well as MCC Huatian Chief Accountant Li Debin, Vice President and Healthcare Industrial Technology Research Institute President Li Huiying and others.

In the morning of November 18th, MCC Huatian was invited to the 'Meeting for Promoting the Beidaihe Health Industry Innovative Demonstration Zone in Hebei Province'. Hebei Provincial Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Governor Yuan Tongli and Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee Secretary Meng Xiangwei launched the demonstration area at the meeting, marking the official establishment of China's first national health industry innovative demonstration area.
