More women than ever before are considering a career in technology. However, only 30% of people working in tech today are women, and initiatives such as Women in Tech 2017 aim to encourage more talented women into the sector.

As part of this year's event on March 8, we welcomed over 70 top talents to MTG's Stockholm HQ to learn more about how our people and our technology are shaping the future of entertainment.

The stand-out moments:

Rachel Bernard, SVP of Broadcast Operations, reveals just what a diverse, innovative workplace MTG is: 'We're mums, brothers, sisters and artists who use amazing tech every day.'

Monika Hanson, Head of Innovation at Viaplay, explains how to spot a trend: 'It's about mapping how innovations address human needs in a new way.'

Next, we joined more than 1,500 participants in central Stockholm to hear from tech leaders such as Cristina Stenbeck, Faviana Vangelius (CEO of SVRVIVE), Lena Olving (CEO of Mycronic) and Emma Rosman (CEO and founder of Welcome App).

So much engagement, so much talent! Today, around 20% of MTG staff in Stockholm work directly with tech - if you'd like to help push this number higher, check out our open positions right here.
