Cobra is launching a sleek and sophisticated new font in the on-trade to complete its brand redesign and support its growth in bars and pubs. The premium Indian brand's new look has been very well received by licensees and their customers as Cobra continues its journey to become a top ten UK beer brand.

In research, consumers perceived the new look Cobra as being more premium, stylish and modern, stating that they are more likely to purchase Cobra as a result. The striking design will roll out across 2012 and into 2013, giving Cobra greater standout on the bar. The font, which will soon be introduced to bars across the UK, follows the new glassware as a sophisticated addition to pubs, bars and restaurants this year.

Adrian Davey, Managing Director of the Cobra Beer Partnership, commented:

"The stylish new font is a signal of intent, strengthening Cobra's distinctive presence on bars throughout the UK as we aim to fulfil our ambition to become a top ten beer in the UK. The reaction to Cobra's redesign has been fantastic and this font reaffirms our commitment to quality, consistency and providing a beer that can be enjoyed on any occasion."

Originally imported from Bangalore, Cobra is brewed to a traditional Indian recipe with a modern twist for an extra smooth taste. Only the finest ingredients are used including rice, maize and a little less gas to create a uniquely smooth taste.
