Successful exhibitions in Germany, Sweden and Belgium of latest innovative products

Mondi, the international packaging and paper group, recently met with more than 1,500 customers, potential customers and business partners during the FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, the Scanpack trade fair in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the Labelexpo in Brussels, Belgium.

Mondi products touch the lives of millions around the world, every day. At the Mondi booths, visitors could learn first-hand about the latest in packaging solutions, such as easy-pak for large-volume shipments and e-commerce packaging from Mondi Corrugated Packaging, the water-repellent HYBRIDPRO from Mondi Industrial Bags, SKOG paper liner from Mondi Extrusion Coatings and PaperPack from Mondi Consumer Goods Packaging.

Albert Klinkhammer, Director of Marketing and Communications, Mondi Europe & International, said, 'We were pleased with the strong turnout at all three fairs, in particular with the quality of the conversations with our visitors. At these fairs, we can present our wide variety of packaging solutions to targeted European audiences. We enjoy the chance to showcase our latest in product development and customisation, innovative features, sustainability and recyclability.'

Mondi's Advanced Materials business enjoyed the spotlight at both FachPack, which had a special focus on marking and labelling, and Labelexpo. Mondi Advanced Materials is the first global producer to offer both label films and release liners from a single source. It supplies standard and speciality polyolefin-based films for label face stock as well as high-quality release liners customised to meet any specific manufacturing condition.

At Scanpack, the Save Food initiative held an exhibition and conference in conjunction with the fair. Mondi is a member of this UN-sponsored initiative, which aims to fight hunger by reducing food loss around the world. Mondi has developed a broad range of fit-for-purpose packaging solutions to prevent food losses and waste throughout the supply chain.
