Nature, ecological consciousness and a sustainable use of natural resources have become more and more important over recent years. By not only listening to customer needs, but also embracing this trend, Mondi Coatings' engineers have pioneered a state-of-the-art paper liner - natural protection SKOG. This new paper liner for Form Fill and Seal (FFS) machines will be introduced at RosUpack 2016 in Moscow.

'Protecting natural goods with natural resources' is the vision which the team from Mondi Örebro AB, Sweden, had when developing this project. While the first tests were for pellets from a variety of sources, heating as well as horse pellets, SKOG can also be used for fertilizers and animal feed. 'The new liner complies perfectly with our sustainability strategy,' Jan-Willem Kleppers, MD Mondi Extrusion Coatings, proudly explains. 'SKOG is a natural product especially designed to fulfil ecological needs while protecting our customers' goods.'

The barrier coating assures great protection in- and outside of the bag as well as good sealing properties. In addition, the innovative liner is characterized by a very stable performance during transport. Highly convenient for the end user, the bag can be opened without tools, the goods are easy to pour, and the bag can be folded again due to the neat deadfold characteristics of the paper.
