MRSK Tsentra : IDGC of Centre promotes development of small and medium-sized businesses in the regions of the Central Federal District

IDGC of Centre summed up the connection to the grid of small and medium-sized businesses in the first half of 2014. During this period the company performed in the regions where it operates more than 3,764 relevant contracts, the total connection capacity was about 130.16 MW. The largest volume of grid connections was performed in the Belgorod (30.18 MW), Voronezh (18.72 MW), Smolensk (12.43 MW), Kostroma (12.17 MW), and Lipetsk (12.04 MW) regions. In some regions there was growth of the performance compared to the same period last year. The greatest part in the grid connection amount is housing and trade projects, enterprises of the construction industry and agriculture.

Providing the timely and full grid connection of small and medium-sized businesses in the regions of its service area, IDGC of Centre promotes the development of these industries, contributes to job creation and implementation of an effective housing policy, and as a result makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic stability of these areas.
