IDGC of Centre, PJSC successfully completed the preparation for the autumn-winter operation period of 2015/2016. The Certificate of readiness for the heating season was handed over to General Director of the company Oleg Isaev by Head of the Commission of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Deputy Energy Minister Andrey Cherizov.

The Commission of the Ministry of Energy, which also included representatives of Rostekhnadzor, EMERCOM, the System Operator, Rosseti assessed the outcome of the preparation of IDGC of Centre for the operation through the heating season. The results of the check showed a high degree of readiness of power grid facilities for the autumn-winter operation period.

IDGC of Centre in full and in strict accordance with the deadlines performed all planned activities to prepare for the work during the period of cold weather. Implementation of the schedule of one of the key preparatory activities, the repair program, as of October 1, is 100%. Specialists of the company repaired approximately 16,954 thousand km of power lines of different voltage class (0.4-110 kV, including cable lines), 188 substations of 35-110 kV and 3,956 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV. 13,693 thousand hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines were cleared from trees and shrubs.

Emergency supply of equipment is staffed at 100%. Motor and special vehicles are available to work in cold weather. Staff training and exercises on emergency response were conducted, typical for low temperatures. Currently, 1,418 first responding mobile crews consisting of 7,909 people and 2,041 special and off-road vehicles are available for elimination of incidents and emergency situations. 90 emergency mobile crews were formed for immediate transfer of additional forces between the branches of IDGC of Centre and participation in the first responding and restoration work in the territory of other subsidiaries and affiliates of PJSC 'Rosseti'. Testing of protection and automation circuits for operation was completed. All the branches of the company entered into agreements on cooperation in prevention and elimination of consequences of incidents involving local administrations and departments of EMERCOM of Russia, aviation enterprises, territorial grid companies and contractors.

The final meeting of the Commission of the Ministry of Energy, where decisions were made about granting IDGC of Centre with the certificate of readiness, was preceded by a fire protection drill at 110/35/10/6 kV Substation Bezborodovo, organized by power engineers in the Tver region, together with the regional EMERCOM. During it staff of the company once again demonstrated the high level of professionalism, concerted actions, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies and deal with their consequences.
