ROSSETI CENTRE The "Motor rally of energy efficiency", organized by IDGC of Centre in the regions of its service area in order to popularize among the younger generation the principles of energy saving, May 18 crossed the Orel and Kursk regions, and continued its journey on the territory of the Kursk region.
The first lesson on energy conservation specialists of the energy saving and efficiency Office of Kurskenergo held for pupils of 6-8 grades of a comprehensive school of the settlement of Mikhailovskaya in the Kursk region. The power engineers told more than a hundred schoolchildren about advanced energy-saving technologies: how to conserve energy, without refusing the usual comfort.
As a transportation vehicle, as well as energy-efficient visual aids the specialists of Kurskenergo used an electric car. They showed the children its design and functionality, spoke about the benefits compared with gasoline vehicles, gave the schoolchildren the opportunity to ride on it.
Director of the Mikhailovskaya comprehensive school Natalia Kosatova thanked the power engineers for the interesting and informative lesson. "Our task, first of all, is to change the attitude of children to the problem of rational use of energy, to teach them to take care of surrounding resources. The future is for new, intelligent technologies, and it is the younger generation of Russians who will have to achieve their universal application, and it is great that now the power engineers are implementing such an important event," stressed Natalia Kosatova.
During the four days of the motor rally in the Kursk land the power engineers will hold lessons on energy efficiency in seven secondary schools in the region. They will be attended by over 300 schoolchildren.
