MRSK Tsentra : Three projects of Belgorodenergo became winners of the regional stage of contests of the Russian Ministry of Energy

Three competitive projects of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division became winners of the regional stage of contests of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation: the Second All-Russian competition of completed projects in the field of energy conservation, energy efficiency and energy development ENES-2015 and the First All-Russian competition of the media, press services of energy companies and regional administrations 'MediaTEK'.

'Awards to winners were presented by Head of the Department of housing and communal services of the Belgorod region Yury Galdun. 'Holding such competitions at the regional level is an important link for the state and business in terms of coordinating efforts in the field of energy efficiency,' he stressed. 'But implementation of the best projects will increase the level of knowledge of Belgorod residents about the possibilities of energy saving. Unfortunately, it is the absence of mass consumer culture of energy conservation is the main obstacle to its development.'

Branches of IDGC of Centre, including 'Belgorodenergo', have been consecutively engaged in formation of skills for several years, working with adults and with the youngest consumers of electric energy.

In the category 'Promotion of energy-saving way of life and organization of energy-efficient production' in the finals of the contest ENES-2015 there were the projects 'Lessons on energy saving', 'Defenders of energy' and 'A series of videos for children 'Let's talk about energy efficiency'.

The 'Defenders of energy' accumulated a wealth of experience of power engineers of the company to foster lean and prudent user of energy resources.

In the category for the best video a series of nine short films under the title 'Let's talk about energy efficiency' won. Authors of the project are specialists of the company, and students of the Moscow branch of the theater-studio 'Image' were as actors. Each video opens one or more rules of electricity saving.

From January 1, 2015 the videos are regularly shown at the lessons on energy saving that Belgorodenergo's staff conduct in schools and kindergartens of the region. Currently, all 9 videos are shared on YouTube, as well as transferred to the children's educational and social institutions of the region.

The competition project of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division 'Compliance with the rules of conduct in the protected zones of power lines - an important indicator of the electric grid complex operation and prevention of injury to third parties' was the winner of the regional stage of the First All-Russian competition of the media, press services of energy companies and regional administrations 'MediaTEK' in the nomination 'For effective coverage of projects in the region related to the production activities of the company'.

The project represents one of the main directions of information policy of IDGC of Centre - safety and addresses the issues of security zones of power lines, which under certain circumstances can lead to electric shock to persons. Power engineers presented a set of methodological and information materials on the prevention of similar violations accumulated over several years of work with various target audiences, as well as the shared experience of the work carried out this year.

All information on the results of the regional stage of the competition, as well as the application of the winners and presentation of the projects were submitted to the Ministry of Energy of Russia to participate in the federal stage of the contest. Winners of the federal stage will be announced in November during the International ENES-2015 Forum.
