ROSSETI CENTRE The repair program of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division in 2015 was implemented in full and in the planned time frame. Total costs to carry out the repair work amounted to 193.75 million rubles. At the same time to repair cables and overhead power lines of 0.4-110 kV it spent about 79.46 million rubles, 6-110 kV substations - 54.84 million rubles, buildings and structures - 12.10 million rubles. Smolensk power engineers spent 25.82 million rubles on the repair of motor vehicles and 21.53 million rubles to repair means of dispatch and process control, instrumentation, as well as relay protection and automation.
As a result of the repair program implementation Smolenskenergo's specialists in 2015 repaired 727.96 km of power lines of 35-110 kV. The power engineers comprehensively repaired 23 substations of 35-110 kV (2 substations more than in 2014). The most important of them: the 110/35/10kV Substation 'Gagarin', the 110/35/10kV Substation 'Monastyrschina', and the 110/35/10kV Substation 'Kasplya'. Furthermore, 1,097.26 km of 0.4-10 kV lines and 508 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV were repaired.
Particular attention in the implementation of the repair program in 2015 was paid to clearing ROWs. Over the past year the Smolensk power engineers cleared of trees and shrubs 1,522.04 hectares of ROWs along 6-110 kV lines. The total cost for this activity amounted to 32.78 million rubles. And work to expand the ROWs of 6-110 kV overhead lines was performed in the amount of 147.08 hectares. All these measures significantly decrease the risk of falling trees and branches on wires in spans of power lines, thereby reducing the likelihood of damage to overhead lines. These activities are carried out in strict accordance with the regulations and the requirements of the legislation.
Within the framework of the target program to improve reliability and safety of equipment in 2015 at 35-110 kV substations: 4 breaker-isolating switches/short-circuiting switches 110 kV were replaced with gas-insulated circuit breakers; 67 oil circuit breakers 6-10 kV were replaced for vacuum ones; 1 recloser of 35 kV was installed, 2 substation control buildings and 10 switchgear assembly bays of 10 kV were installed.
Performing the repair plan is an important area of preparation of Smolenskenergo for the autumn-winter operation period. In particular, thanks to the timely implementation of the repair program, in September 2015 the branch received its certificate of readiness for the autumn-winter 2015/2016 operation period.
With the help of modern methods of organization and application of up-to-date technologies the branch improves the reliability of power supply to consumers, increases equipment life, and reduces the cost of the planned work.
