MRSK Tsentra : Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre to spend 258.6 million rubles to perform the repair program

In 2017, IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division will spend 258.6 million rubles on the repair program implementation. In this case, as in the previous year, about 70% of the total planned work the energy company will perform by its own workforce and only 30% with involvement of contractors. This will allow more efficient approach to allocation of resources, reduction of costs and achievement of performance targets.

Belgorod power engineers will repair 2,271.9 km of overhead and cable power lines of 0.4-110 kV, six high-voltage power transformers, 152 switches and 42 disconnectors at 35-110 kV substations and 769 transformer substations and 451 transformers of 6-10 kV. On overhead power lines it is planned to replace at least 2,163 poles, 305 km of wire and more than 17,500 insulators. 465.4 hectares of ROWs along power lines will be cleared from tree and shrub seedlings.

Complex repair of equipment this year is scheduled for 28 major feeding centres, including the 110 kV 'Red Yaruga' substation and at a number of 35 kV substations: 'Terebreno', 'Kochetovka', 'Skorodnoye', providing electricity to consumers of Krasnoyaruzhsky, Ivnyansky and Prokhorovsky districts.

The repair program of the branch is aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of power lines and substations and preparation for failure-free operation through the next autumn-winter period. Last year, the volume of capital investments amounted to 255.8 million rubles. The branch repaired 2,361.7 km of power lines, equipment of 813 high-voltage and transformer substations, 495.5 hectares of ROWs along power lines were cleared from woody undergrowth, which amounted to 104.8% of the year's plan.
