MRSK Tsentra : Professional skills competitions of metering and optimization of electric energy losses crews began at Kurskenergo

17 October at the training centre of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division the competition of professional skills among specialists of departments of metering and optimization of losses started. 30 teams of Distribution Zones of the branch are competing for the title of the best crew.

Competitors will have to overcome four stages. The first involves the examination of knowledge of existing rules, instructions and regulations. The second stage includes tasks to provide first aid to the victim with performing CPR on a robot simulator 'George'. In the third stage the power engineers will perform an instrumental check of a three-phase metering device with indirect connection at an operating testing bench and the fourth - the replacement of a single-phase metering device, obviously defective or found unfit.

The judging committee, consisting of experienced employees and heads of department of the branch, will evaluate the quality of tasks, equipment of the crews with uniform, protective equipment, instruments, tools, and documentation, as well as the ability to correctly and competently to report on their actions during the work. The Regulations on the stages of the competition set a specific rating system, including the size of incentive and penalty points. In addition to the best crew, winners will be determined in individual professional categories. The competition will end on 21 October.
