MRSK Tsentra : The Day of the Entrepreneur was held in Kurskenergo

The Day of the Entrepreneur was held in IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division, in which representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Kursk region took part. During the event, topical issues related to the procedure of connection to electric grids for the category of applicants with power installations of 15-150 kW (these include small and medium-sized businesses) were discussed.

Deputy Director for Sales and Development of Services of Kurskenergo Sergey Sevryukov informed the participants of the meeting about the main stages, timing and cost of performing the grid connection service. He also informed the entrepreneurs that due to the shortening of the stages of the procedure for concluding grid connection contracts, Kurskenergo reduced the term of connection to the grid of small and medium-sized businesses: if earlier it was 120 days, now - not more than 73 days.

The head of the department of interaction with customers of the branch Marina Zhilenkova told about the service 'Execution of work related to the customer's competence in the grid connection process' ('Grid connection support'). Within this service, Kurskenergo's employees, at the request of the customer, are ready to perform a full range of activities from the point of connection to the consumer's energy-consuming devices (development of project documentation, construction and installation work, necessary tests, etc.). And the head of the grid connection department Mikhail Filipkin informed the participants of the event that simultaneously with submitting a grid connection application they can apply for a power supply contract with a sales company. All necessary documents for its conclusion will be sent by the branch's employees to the energy sales company themselves.

During the meeting the entrepreneurs were able to ask power engineers questions related to the grid connection of specific facilities. They concerned, in particular, the fulfillment of the applicant's obligations under technical conditions, as well as the possibility of granting benefits when paying for grid connection services. Specialists of the branch explained that for the applicants with power istallations of 15-150 kW special conditions are stipulated, payment by installments for a period of three years is possible.

At the end of the event the participants thanked the power engineers for useful information.
