MRSK Tsentra : The third working week of students’ crews started at Bryanskenergo

Members of the students' crews 'Circuit Team' and 'Energet', formed from students of Smolensk branch of NRU 'MPEI' and Bryansk State Agrarian University, continue work at facilities of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division.

At the beginning of the work shift, the young people had a mandatory special course on labour protection and safety and passed the exam for the second group on electrical safety, which is necessary for admission to work. Study tours to the substation 'Michurinskaya' and the Grid Control Centre of Bryanskenergo were organized for them. The members got acquainted with the operation of equipment and facilities of the regional grid complex, they were attracted to work connected with improvement of substation premises.

At present, the students are taking part in repair work at facilities of Bryansky, Dubrovsky, Novozybkovsky and Surazhsky Distribution Zones. In accordance with the permit, they are engaged in updating dispatcher names, scheduled inspections of power lines and transformer substations, equipment repairs, taking meter readings. The members have assigned mentors, who monitor compliance with the rules of internal labour regulations and occupational safety standards, carry out methodological and practical guidance work. According to their feedback, the young people are disciplined and demonstrate a genuine interest in the future profession.

In addition to production activities, the members of the students' crews will take part in the activities of the 'energy' shift 'Find Yourself' at the children's country camp 'Vyunki' in Klintsovsky district. In the course of occupational and electrical safety classes held there by representatives of Bryanskenergo, together with children in the camp they will play active games and learn to provide first aid to the victim with the training simulator 'Gosha'.

'Involvement of the students in production activities increases their interest in the energy profession, allows to get the first labour experience.
