MTR and RTHK Radio 2 Join Hands to Encourage Courteous Behaviour through "Sharing Love"

Popular singers Mr Alfred Hui and Miss Joey Wong joined DJs from RTHK Radio 2 to kick off the MTR x RTHK Courtesy Campaign 2017 at Ho Man Tin Station today (18 October 2017) with the theme "Sharing of love by you and me". This year's Courtesy Campaign encourages MTR passengers to display their caring spirit during their journeys.

"While MTR always strives to provide a safe journey as well as a reliable and comfortable travelling environment for our passengers, simple gestures by our passengers can make MTR journeys more enjoyable. We can show our care and love to our fellow passengers by such courteous actions as letting others alight first before boarding trains, moving inside the train compartment, or giving seats to persons in need," said Mr Alan Cheng, Senior Head of Operating - South Region of MTR Corporation.

During this year's Courtesy Campaign, posters featuring a line-up of RTHK Radio 2 DJs will appear throughout the MTR network from October to early November to promote courteous behaviour and the joy of sharing and caring. The RTHK Radio 2 DJs will also reach out to the general public through their radio programmes to share the joy of being considerate and courteous.

"We are pleased to work together with MTR Corporation on promoting 'sharing love' and courteous behaviour. We hope to encourage passengers to share their love with others and be considerate to create pleasant MTR journeys for everyone," said Ms Wendy Lee, Head of RTHK Radio 2.
