Speaker line-up includes world-renowned artist Jeff Koons and distinguished architect Jean Nouvel

LONDON, February 3rd, 2015 - The International New York Times will host its inaugural Art for Tomorrow conference, organized with Qatar Museums and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Qatar, on 14th to 16th March 2015 at the W hotel in Doha.

The agenda will focus on the art and architecture that is playing a vital role in building communities, developing commerce and enriching lives throughout the globe. It will explore the changing dynamics of art and architecture and their potential to change people and places, including how investment in art and culture contributes to urban spaces and can reinvigorate communities, the function of corporate investment in art, and how investing in cultural projects contributes to brand identity.  Delegates will include artists, gallerists, architects, urban planners, political decision-makers, and cultural and financial experts.

The conference will be introduced by Arthur O. Sulzberger, Jr., Chairman and Publisher, The New York Times Company and will feature Scott Reyburn, columnist for the International New York Times on the art market.

The two-day event will include traditional panel sessions, as well as interactive sessions called 'Salons', where the audience is invited to participate by voting for or against a motion. The final session will also be interspersed with live artistic demonstrations to complement the discussion.
